The GMiS Scholars program is a merit-based scholarship program that has recognized excellence in academics, community service, and leadership for 33 years. Awardees are talented students of Hispanic descent and/or demonstrate significant leadership or service within the underserved community. Over $5,000,000 in scholarships has been awarded to over 1,700 college students since 2001.

In addition to receiving the scholarship, GMiS subsidizes students’ participation in the annual GMiS Conference. This year, scholars will be recognized at the virtual 2021 GMiS Conference, which is being held from October 11 – 22, 2021. Scholars will be honored and recognized during the Scholars Reception on Thursday, October 14 and the Student Leadership Awards Show on Thursday, October 21.

Congratulations students and thank you to all our sponsors and donors for their continued support of our underserved communities! The work of GMiS could not be done without your continued dedication and advocacy for our students.
