Robin Evitts
Robin Evitts is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) Performance Improvement in San Francisco, California. She specializes in delivering transformational business performance improvements. Her primary areas of concentration are finance, information technology and corporate governance. With almost 30 years of experience, Ms. Evitts has held corporate executive roles with a Fortune 500 company and served as a partner in two global consulting firms.
Ms. Evitts’ notable consulting assignments include delivery and support of large-scale transformation and strategic programs – generally involving process, technology and organizational changes – with clients across various industries, including consumer goods manufacturing, technology, retail and K-12/Education. She has driven a number of performance improvement programs within finance and IT organizations, and supported clients in developing and implementing key business improvements.
Prior to joining A&M, Ms. Evitts spent 7 years with The Clorox Company in Oakland, CA, where she served for 5 years as Chief Information Officer. In her role as CIO, she transformed the global IT function through a combination of internal transformation and outsourcing. She also served as Chief Audit Executive at Clorox for two years, where she was responsible for the global internal audit activities and creating the company’s internal control/SOX compliance programs. Ms. Evitts also led a finance re-organization, that defined career paths, enhanced performance management/skills development programs, refreshed the finance rotational/leadership program and improved capability while reducing costs.
Prior to joining Clorox, Ms. Evitts spent 15 years at Deloitte & Touche, most recently as a partner in Oakland. She assisted client companies through IPOs, along with advising companies on accounting and financial reporting matters, including SEC filings, debt registrations, asset securitizations and other financing and acquisition related matters. Additionally, she delivered internal audit programs for clients and advising Audit Committees on corporate governance matters while leading the Northern California Consumer Goods Enterprise Risk Services practice.
Ms. Evitts earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana), and she is a CPA (inactive) in California. Ms. Evitts has served previously as West Region leader for the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and President of the San Francisco IIA chapter. She is actively involved with Great Minds in STEM as a Board Member, and Girls Incorporated of Alameda County as the Board President.
