Eight Hispanic students pursuing STEM across the country were awarded scholarships from long-time sponsor Dow Chemical as part of our Class of 2021 GMiS Scholars program, a merit-based scholarship program that has recognized excellence in academics, community service, and leadership for 33 years.

In addition to receiving the scholarship, GMiS subsidizes students’ participation in the annual GMiS Conference. This year, scholars will be recognized at the virtual 2021 GMiS Conference, which is being held from October 11 – 22, 2021. Scholars will be honored and recognized during the Scholars Reception on Thursday, October 14 and the Student Leadership Awards Show on Thursday, October 21.
