California Medical Scholars Announced by Great Minds in STEM

Great Minds in STEM™ is proud to introduce its third class of California Medical Scholarship recipients. The GMiS California Medical Scholarship provides financial assistance and support to underrepresented students pursuing medical degrees at the University of California, Davis; University of California, Los Angeles; University of California, San Francisco; and the University of Southern California.

Through a scholarship endowment, GMiS awards $5,000 scholarships in honor of three outstanding individuals: Dr. James A. Lemus, Dr. Alfonso Paredes, and Mr. Artemio G. Navarro.
