Lights… Camera… You! Great Minds in STEM is seeking inspiring technology professionals to feature in its all-new STEM Talk Showcases at the 37th Annual GMiS Conference.
Are you a dynamic speaker looking to engage over 600 college STEM majors from across the country and create premium content for your own social media network in the process? Are you or your company looking for a prime venue and a captive audience to promote opportunities or technologies to potential future employees? Then a STEM Talk at the 2025 GMiS Conference offers the ideal platform to showcase your skills, promote your personal or professional brand, and educate and empower the next generation of engineers and scientists!
The GMiS Conference is the flagship event for Great Minds in STEM. This annual event, now in its 37th year, will be taking October 2-4, 2025 in San Diego, CA.
Up to 10 individual STEM Talks will be featured across two themed showcases.
Showcase #1 is titled “Empower and Inspire” and is open to:
- Accomplished technology professionals who have lessons about their journeys or have developed soft skill presentations they think will inspire and empower our conference attendees and their larger social media communities.
- Individuals whose companies are looking to promote employment opportunities or present technologies or other breakthroughs in their industries.
- STEM professionals who are active on social media and want to educate the next generation of engineers and scientists on leveraging social media as a career booster and promote their own content in the process.
- Engineers and entrepreneurs with experience founding or developing Tech start-ups who can educate STEM students on this unique culture and provide insights on how to pursue this career route.
Showcase #2 is titled “The A.I. Revolution” and will be open to:
- Companies developing, adapting and implementing A.I. technologies looking to inform STEM college students on career opportunities in this emerging field.
- Experts in the industry looking to demystify A.I. and educate the public on the impact this technology will have on education, the economy, or other aspects of society.
- Founders and funders of startups who are on the front lines of A.I. specifically to share their stories about breaking into this emerging market.
Each STEM Talk will be up 15 minutes followed by up to 10 minutes of Q&A from the audience. STEM Talks will be recorded, published and made available to be shared across speakers’ social media networks. STEM Talk presenters will be featured on all conference promotional material and promoted on GMiS Social Media and email blasts.
